56. New windows

So I bought a sheet of Lexan and started to cut some new quarter windows and rear window for the 2.5rs. I used a DeWalt Oscilating multitool and it was flawless. If you ever need to make windows use this and you will be very happy with the results. I carefully removed the windows and saved them to use as a template for the new ones. Very beneficial because of the compound curves. Clamped the Lexan to the old window and traced the new one.

Clamped the plastic to an end table and began cutting.

Using the DeWalt made light work of the cutting. Tyro Racing a racing team.

First fit was pretty close. Now I need to add weatherstripping and drill a few holes and they will be good to go.

Rough fit. A little off here and there and I think we got it. Tyro Racing a racing team.
